If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. I'm in West Yorkshire and this is one of the increasing landline robo calls, originating from the south of England, I've been receiving in November 2020. SCAM. Phoned to offer me a reduction in my monthly phone bill. Very convincing. Seemed to know a lot about different plans etc. Phoned Carphone Warehouse after the call to confirm their legitimatcy and they have said that it is a scam.
