called again today and last few days saying i have had an accident. i told them no i have not and yet they keep calling. Different people on the line everytime. Getting fed up now!1 what can i do to get these calls stopped!1

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. I received a call from a chap who called himself Brady, from the Nuisance Calls Prevention Service in Brighton at 6.05pm on 26th February 2015. He told me that he was aware that I was receiving a high ratio of nuisance calls and that he was going to stop them for me... all good up to this point! He then went on to say that for ?2 per month the calls would be stopped!!!! Definitely a scammer, but what worries me is that he knew my name and ex-directory telephone number.

got an email saying i was eligible for a tax refund aparantly this is a scam and the sender should be tracked and prosecuted.

Didn’t recognise so didn’t answer. Checked here as usual. Blocked.

The following number: 0208 759 95 77 keeps phoning and when I pick it up, a machine keeps beeping and I cannot hang up. It is a stupid caller who harrass people and blocks the phone line.

Called with a claim that we're overpaying our business rates - obviously a scam, we're a small business and we're rate-exempt.

The number is spoofed by the scammers and the call is not from within the UK.

Rang long enough to trigger a voicemail but when listened to, it was as if they put diwn straight away. On researching seems to be linked to a telefone company but can t find any further details.

I was getting calls daily from 01782401123 which I ignored. Research showed it was Advantis a know Telephone pest. They are now trying new tactics with thier new number 08448241820. If I have a debt, which I dont, then write to me, oh i forgot you cant because I dont answer the phone and give you any details. Advantis you can do one will be reporting this number as I have done with the other to ICO and Ofcom.

All the calls from "TalkTalk", "BT", "Openreach", "Microsoft" ,etc., are SCAMS. Don’t talk to these people!

Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. Received a call offering me a trial of a Home Monitoring System. Unable to make out much more (I have impaired hearing).
