Fraud - this ghastly number then leaves a message threatening arrest and warrants for non-payment/tax fraud
SCAM Automated voice told me there was fraudulent activity on my NI number and would be suspended

I got a call from this number this afternoon saying I have some questions, I only need 20 seconds of your time so after another 15 seconds I said that s 20 seconds, bye. He rang straight back and said you think you re clever but I m cleverer than you and hung up. Daft or what?

SCAM - purportedly from HMRC re Tax Fraud, HMRC confirm “ HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. Called twice this afternoon, saw 020 number on caller display so didn't answer it, no one calls me from London, have now put in the callblocker....
Silent call Answered this call, no-one there!!! A recorded kind of drumroll played. Held on for a few minutes, music played again, still no-one there so I hung up. Saw previous search on Google to say that this is HMRC but I don't think it is.
Automated call claiming they are Amazon Customer Service saying your purchase of £700 will be dispatched in a few days but call them if you haven't made a purchase. Total scam they just want your money.

SCAM: Man with Indian accent, saying an Amazon Gift card for 39.99 had been charged to my account, from a postcode in London. Asked how I was today & I strung him along to waste his time & said ’not good’. He had my initial, surname, address & postcode, as well as my phone no. I told him I don’t HAVE an Amazon Account. Then he asked if I had an internet connection & I said 'no I've turned it off, because I don't want the 'waves' going through my head. Obviously thought I was
