Received the text today ! Received on the 26th Dec and referred to 24th Dec. The exact message as above “Attempted Delivery”. This following is clearly obvious “Royal Mail were in Strike on the 24th Dec”. These stupid Thieving Clowns. Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. Txt came in @ 16:07 Info from- http://www.call-charges.co.uk/03308-premium-rate-phone-numbers#one Calls from landlines are typically charged between 2p and 10p per minute; calls from mobiles typically cost between 10p and 40p per minute, but they can set the rate at whatever they like. Just delete it. Don't call them back!

SCAM claimed to be from Barklays Bank checked directly with Barklays not them.

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.
