What a foolish young man , I said to myself whilst cutting his cold call short and shaking my head in a sknowing self assured manner at the state of modern day society.

Called my mobile saying they were from BT Business, asked to speak to my friend, Told them this is not his number, they asked for a contact fro him, I said you should have it, they said, this is the only number we have for him. Then asked, you do know him though? and I answered "Yeah". BT Business say the number is untraceable. they may have recorded me saying "Yeah" to use for fraud.

Scam leaving voice messages saying there is a law suit against me and that if I don't act, my NIH number will be void. Phoned them back up, a gentleman in a call centre picked up, saying "HMRC, this is Steve speaking". I typed the number in a search engine and thanks to others listing it was able to discover its Oxfam calling me on a daily basis. Have never answered call and no message is left. Will now add number to reject list as they are becoming a nuisance. We choose to give to charity and shouldn t feel pressured. That s not what its about.
