Pretending to be accident help line this number called twice in 5 mins. Second time using a name that was not mine.. Scam

got a missed call from this number so not sure who it is but when i tried to call back it said the number was not in service, very dodgy if you ask me!

Two calls received within 24 hours from male with Indian/Asian accent and female with American accent. Both told me that they had information that showed that I had had a no fault accident within the last 2 years. They were obviously reading from a script, refused to tell me where they had got my name, phone number or the accident information from. I told them what I thought of them and they hung up ! Will report it to TPS and ico.org.uk

Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Not sure what category to put the caller under.

The scammers can spoof any number they like. Never call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed UK number which ...
