I received a call that sounded like an automated recording claiming that I had had unusual activity on my visa card. I believed it to be a scam call so I just hung up.
Claims to be from FCA and asking for personal details in order to check an account. Highly suspicious.

You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. I called this Scam number from a letter send by a company call Rothesay and Experian. A man answered and put me through to a woman who started asking me a lot if personal questions. I discovered she was located in South Africa. I then realized it was a SCAM.

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.
