This number phoning for the last 5 days. They say they are Savers Club - whoever that is! Despite requesting to be taken off their list they still keep calling.

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

Thought this was a scam call but recently changed my phone network to O2 so I spoke for a few seconds. When asked exactly who they were they hung up. Blocked the number.

Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. What! I told him I was an IT Consultant (truth) and he started telling me what to do. Several times I told him he was a scammer but he completely ignored me. Eight calls in two weeks. Many ring once and hang up, expecting you to call back. When you do answer a call quickly there s sometimes a delay in them answering, meaning they are multi calling at the same time. Over polite conversation never quite getting to what they want. Probably accident scammers.
