The following number: 0208 759 95 77 keeps phoning and when I pick it up, a machine keeps beeping and I cannot hang up. It is a stupid caller who harrass people and blocks the phone line.

These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. I had a message from this number +44 1252 560473, I ve googled it and it brought me to this website, I ve also sent it to the real paypal support team, the message I have is. " Dear ......, we ve detected unauthorized access to your PayPal account. Please log in at https://supportpaypal.net/ to unlock your account." I know full well my account is in fully working order, just wanted to share this with everyone

It's got one digit less that regular 0207 numbers, so it might not be a London number at all. In my case, when I answered my mobile, their system just hung up.

I was contacted by this number the caller did not give a name they are of forien extract have a job to understand them, and they do not know the word no or good by,they are a pain in the AR,,,,

Call received on my landline, purportedly from Amazon regarding renewal of my Prime membership. Instructions to press 1 if I wanted to cancel membership. I hung up without pressing any numbers. I do not trust phone calls like this. Possible scam.

Nuisance caller asking about an alleged car accident I was supposed to be involved in.

This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. Automated calls are extremely annoying as 1) All you can do is hang up (best option) and 2) They obviously don t deem you important enough to at least get a human being to pester you. If you have made a comment, or complaint, about a road or pavement, either by email, letter or telephone, this is the generic telephone number they will call you back on. They did telephone me back later the same day. No good trying to call them back, it is not a manned line.
