Silent call Answered this call, no-one there!!! A recorded kind of drumroll played. Held on for a few minutes, music played again, still no-one there so I hung up. Saw previous search on Google to say that this is HMRC but I don't think it is.

Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Alleged to be from Amazon and they were deducting £79 from my account. I checked with Amazon it is a scam.
SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

HMRC SCAM CALL PROVIDER SEEMS COMPLICIT IN THAT THEY KNOW CRIMINALS ARE USING THEIR SERVICE AND DOING LITTLE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE
Not totally sure whether they're just a call centre or a scam, but they seemed to have some patchy information about our company and tried using it to speak to someone (the wrong person, just a name they'd found who knows where) about our payment systems, claiming to be from "DNA Payments". I couldn't tie this number to that company online so I assumed it was fake and blocked the number.

The caller gets the recipient to perform some tasks on their PC, claiming that it is infected. If you ask for their number, they provide this one.
