I have always decried Prime activation and have in the past asked Amazon to disable Prime on my login. This has been that way for a couple of years now, but this has started again. Called this morning. I do not know anyone in Leeds. Caller was a woman with an (Indian?) accent. Caller told me that I needed debt. A weird call, caller did not use my name, identify herself or tell me why I needed debt.

Claimed to be Das Energy working with the Government to monitor energy supply rates and would check the rates we were offered at renewal against rates they could get from the same suppliers, but the started going on about they were trying to book 2017 rates for future renewals so clearing looking for a sale not at renewal. Reported to IOC as were are registered with TPS.
Cold call. When I asked where they got my name & number was told "It s on our database". When I repeated the question caller hung up.

nobody speaking at the other end. as we are TPS registered this has to be a scam/fraud caller. phone appears to be a Vodaphone number located in the arse end of Cumbria so its obviosly suspicious. reporting it to Ofcom and blocked number
SCAM. Got a call from this number saying it was from hmrc and asked me to follow the instructions. If i hung up then i would be made to pay a penalty fine. I hung up straight away hoping for a penalty fine. Really intimidating.
NEVER give ANY information to an unknown caller.
