Asian sounding women claiming to me that she is calling from EE, she asked if I have an account with her then when I replied ‘you should know’, she then proceeded to reply with an ‘oh my god’ and then hung up the phone.

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam. SCAM. They say they are ringing from Barclays Bank and tried to get me to go into the app to activate a code. After I said I wasn't happy doing it and that I would ring them back, they rang off. I have since rang Barclays and they hadn't called me. SO PLEASE BEWARE!!

Guy with foreign accent talking about having to change my meter!! Had an agressive tone when questioned about exactly who he represented. Beware, this is some kind of fraud or scam.

A dangerous fraud / scam call pretending to be from the UK HMRC. Automated American woman's voice telling me legal proceedings are underway against me and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. For many reasons, that's not how HMRC would operate.

SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Absolutely a scam. Caller knew my name. Said scammers in Bulgaria have been using my name to trade & there's £88k sitting in an account he wants to transfer to me. All I had to do was download anydesk.com. No thanks. This is how scammers connect to your computer, take control of it and steal your money. When I hung up he called me back from a slightly different number offended that I had hung up. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE.

This is a scam pretending to be an Amazon call centre as they had our email and then changed our Amazon account password, that generated an email to us with an OTD code. The scammer then wanted us to give him that code so they could take over the account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THAT CODE AND HANG UP THE CALL AND BLOCK THE NUMBER
