SCAM / SPAM Called once, immediately hangs up in the hope people will call back. Blocked loads of these numbers already. Once you get a call like this from one scammy nob-head company, they keep calling with new numbers in the hope that you react and call them back. Don't answer, Don't call back. Its usually a premuim rate scam that either has some kind of fax machine tone, or someone claiming to be someone they're not trying to keep you on the line for as long as possible whilst running up your phone bill

Called saying about car accident in last three years, asked if anyone else at my addreas had an accident in last three years, didnt have any personal details as to refer to and kept repeating from a script so much that almost sounded automated. Pretended they were TSB, and that someone tried to take out 250 to pay Apple, they put the transaction on hold and now need to generate me a new card, new sort code and new account number. Called him out on it by saying will visit branch to sort out as never heard of anyone changing a sort code before...I am guessing he would have asked me to verify all those details in order to change them. Scam, scam, scam as soon as I said that he hung up.

Never heard of them before today. Auto-called my mobile, asking for a Kerry Luxton. Never heard of her, ever, but other firms have also used that name. My mobile number was brand new when I got it, and hasn t been used by anyone previous to that. Anyone using an automated dialling service can **** right off, in my world, and am therefore glad to have added their number to my mobile s blocked list!
Just coming back about the second number given in previous post - 002220 88199804. I asked the lady on the phone for the location of this number, she told me it was central London. Just to let you all know, Country code 002220 is Gambia!
