This company keeps calling asking for Mrs Ball, who has never lived here, I bought this house before it was built, so I should know. Have also had a mobile number from the same company ringing, fortunately I was out. Both numbers now blocked.

Scam call purporting to be from Amazon
Male called and said I owed money on a NEWDAY credit card linked to my amazon account. I had taken the offer of getting a card via getting a 20% discount on an item but never activated the card. He reeled of items purchased for certain dates. Funny enough, all those payments had already come out of my own Visa card not theirs. Also, the only card visible for payments on my amazon account is my own. And the call was promptly ended.... BE AWARE AND DO NOT GET ROPED IN!!!

SCAM - Tax scam wanting your personal details. They hung up when I refused to hand over details and asked them to pull up my details from the call record.

Called saying about car accident in last three years, asked if anyone else at my addreas had an accident in last three years, didnt have any personal details as to refer to and kept repeating from a script so much that almost sounded automated. My mum received a call at 9.00pm on Tuesday from an aggressive foreign man wanting to talk to her about the car accident she had had. He was a fraudster and a scammer and because my mum did not know that such people existed she asked him what accident he was talking about and proceeded to tell him about an accident that I had had last year and one that my mum and dad had had about ten years ago.
