Indian callers claim to be from windows.they will tell you your computer has been sending them error reports.they then ask you to turn your computer on and then tell you how to fix the problem.they get you to switch on remote access.then they control your computer and have access to all bank,credit card and password details that have been entered.NEVER DO THIS !!! please report to your local police

Be very carefull. Scammers are using this number in text messages to appear to be genuine BT enginers. Rather worrying as they appear to be organising a home visit. They are not BT.

NEVER press ANY numbers when asked to do so by an unknown caller. By doing so, you might be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will be a very expensive call.

The registered message said there were from HMRC Revenue and Customs but when I press 1 to speak the operator the line dropped.

annoyingly this number is calling me - not know to me don t call any more makes you wonder if my number has been passed on

Explained I dealt with accounts and ask what it was regarding, couldn t speak to me as not director, advised to send a letter, wow not impressed at my suggestion...as I pointed out anything to do with HMRC they will contact us directly. She hung up on me...
