I was called by this number to say someone was trying to purchase 200 on amazon and 700 on ebay. They first said my visa was being used I don't have a visa, then he said it could be a Mastercard? I asked who he was , he said 81 Newgate Street London, but I meant was he from my bank ?, he said he was from barclays , I do not have a barclays account.

Randomly messaged me on Whatsapp, entirely in Chinese. Says he messaged me by mistake. Claimed to be a 39 year old man named Nick who works in import and travels between the UK, US and Hongkong. Not sure why he continued the conversation but I told him there's no reason to strike up a conversation with a mistaken number.

Just noticed this number on my Vodafone call list at a cost of £2.82 for 0 seconds!! Certainly don’t remember calling this number and getting through to a human at Vodafone is virtually impossible unless you are prepared to set aside at least an hour of your time ????

Asked me to WhatsApp them and this was their new number, for a new phone as the old number was for the old damaged phone. It just struck me as odd so ignored and then blocked the number. Safe number - NHS - NHS Business Services Authority - legit organisation who deal with a few things, including EHICs, NHS pensions, exemption from health charges (prescriptions, dental, optical and travel for medical treatments) etc. Definitely answer!
