Second call from them, silent call. Am guessing some sort of marketing as I've calls from sim numbers before
Sounded like a call center. Gentleman with an Indian accent. Calling from 'My Preferences' when I queried this he hung up. No idea what kind of call this was! But suspect a scam of some sort.

Someone called my mobile from this number 02087258118, using an automated voice, saying they were going to suspend my National Insurance number because of unusual activity!! Very threatening and loud voice saying I had to ring back this number immediately. To me that sounds like a scam because anything serious and legal they would have phoned and spoken to me and sent an email. Its twice now that my mobile number has been contacted by scammers and its getting really annoying.

WARNING: 01542832293, supposedly from SKY telephones with a refund of £202 for being over charged in previous months. We don't have any SKY account. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. I said I was not giving any details over the phone to someone that I did not know and wanted someone to talk to me as clearly as I was talking to him. I waited, the line was open, and he hung up. DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL DETAILS OVER THE PHONE.

Scammer Be Wary! Came to my house for someone that does not exist. Lied and said the court gave him my address. Yet I lived here for years and never received one court letter. Hourly calls received for 2 days so far, after I stupidly entered my correct phone number on an insurance comparison site (Quotezone - avoid at all costs). Ive never answered the calls and am unable to block them on my current phone or via my call provider, so I m buying a phone which has call barring on it. Ridiculous to think I have to do that, but I cant be doing with hourly calls, since yesterday and starting today, Saturday morning at 9.10am.

Automated voice claiming to be HMRC. Requests call back with solicitors details or face legal action. The number is located in Hanoi, Vietnam so I imagine it is a premium rate scam line.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. SCAM Claims to be Inland Revenue. Voice is synthesized with an American accent. Poorly veiled threat of legal consequential action if ignored.
This number is SPAM! They emailed our company stating they were Glasgow University wanting to provide a PO for equipment. The email was written in broken english and upon following up with a phone call they did not answer as the university.
