Got a call from this number at 4.09am, left no message and there's nothing I can find online for this number other than a Rochdale area code but seeing as I live in Scotlan...
I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

I was getting calls daily from 01782401123 which I ignored. Research showed it was Advantis a know Telephone pest. They are now trying new tactics with thier new number 08448241820. If I have a debt, which I dont, then write to me, oh i forgot you cant because I dont answer the phone and give you any details. Advantis you can do one will be reporting this number as I have done with the other to ICO and Ofcom.
28 Dec 2021 - Claimed to be offering some phone deal (hard to tell exactly what, through thick Indian accent). I repeatedly challenged him on not having checked my number against Telephone Preference Service "do not call" list, and eventually he apologised and hung up. Reply

Long shot, does she have an emergency pendant? Is it possible it s the company who provides it calling her if she accidentally activates it?
Fraud This person pretends to buy things from you on depop, and ask for your security verification code on PayPal. Be careful not to fall for this. PayPal does not ask for a security code if you are receiving money from another person.

I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022545 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?
