It said it was from the UK (where I am) but when I went to answer my battery went flat and cut off so I looked up on here to see who I'd missed. I don't know anyone in Russia.
Fraud suspected,claims to be Virgin Media, did not try to verify any personal details or account details. Wants the IP address that they are supplying to me, at which point I ended call. The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. With a call that early in the morning, I thought my son had been in a car accident or something :-(. Very unhelpful and distressing. No idea what's been going

There is no point in reporting to the TPS or OFCOM these numbers that any scammer can buy. The telecoms company Magrathea That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Best is to get something like a Panasonic KX-TGJ420E and block all 0203 calls. And leave a Google Maps review for the telecoms company.
Supposedly an Indian Restaurant in Bromsgrove called India Spice ???????? Someone else has it listed as an animal charity/voluntary organisation! Whoever they are, I have received a few missed calls from them, & I don't live anywhere near Bromsgrove!! I'd suggest be wary

I realized it was not a scam but paperweight. It was just strange that the call lasted 1 second and nobody answered. I called them to fill help me fill out disability related benefit forms. They tried to call me back.

I called back and it went to a D2MS answer machine. D2MS work as callers for many companies including Butterbox so I am unaware if this was a scam call or not.
