The following number: 0208 759 95 77 keeps phoning and when I pick it up, a machine keeps beeping and I cannot hang up. It is a stupid caller who harrass people and blocks the phone line.

I received a call from a chap who called himself Brady, from the Nuisance Calls Prevention Service in Brighton at 6.05pm on 26th February 2015. He told me that he was aware that I was receiving a high ratio of nuisance calls and that he was going to stop them for me... all good up to this point! He then went on to say that for ?2 per month the calls would be stopped!!!! Definitely a scammer, but what worries me is that he knew my name and ex-directory telephone number.

A woman spoke but it was difficult to understand what she was saying.Something about a road accident I thought. When I asked who she was she put the phone down.

1 day agoDPD is listed as based in NI. A fake dpd faker message claims to miss you & not find you at home in NI even when you are at home & ordered nothing. All fake claims. Beware of fake cheats.Reply

Scammmer, a scouse woman who s pestered me in the past, this time she s claiming to be insurance in order to get bank detials etc

From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.

I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. They told me I had won ?5000 cheque for my case against bank for ppi on loan I took out few years ago, I had to pay ?250 ucash cheque to a guy who would come to my house first then I d get ?5000, I got cut off when I tried to ring back cust serv no she gave me ?? :/

I have had these before. Trying to get you to blame former employers for some (imaginary?) ailment. i will guess that they will end up trying to sell you a very expensive hearing aid but i didn t wait to find out.

I was getting calls daily from 01782401123 which I ignored. Research showed it was Advantis a know Telephone pest. They are now trying new tactics with thier new number 08448241820. If I have a debt, which I dont, then write to me, oh i forgot you cant because I dont answer the phone and give you any details. Advantis you can do one will be reporting this number as I have done with the other to ICO and Ofcom.
