SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.

I then stopped her dead and told her she was talking crap and I had no intention of listing to her and that as soon as I put the phone down I was going to put her number in the call blocker and that she should sod off.
