Should be from Bristol but I don`t think so! they called me a lot of times last week and nobody speaks. They didn t leave any message. In my opinion it is a ping call and if you call back they drain your credit.

SCAM !!!! - this number called - pretended to be BT Openreach - i advised we have been getting alot of calls from this number and to please take our number off the list. I also stated we are registered with the TPS too. nobody speaking at the other end. as we are TPS registered this has to be a scam/fraud caller. phone appears to be a Vodaphone number located in the arse end of Cumbria so its obviosly suspicious. reporting it to Ofcom and blocked number

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Just had a call from this number 001-979-823-4079. Guy with poor english said the files on my Windows computer were infected by a download of infected files. Wanted to speak to the owner of the PC. After stringing him along for a while I told him to get lost as it was a scam. He hung up.
