Had the same call today, I find this really annoying as I am on the TPS, so am not supposed receive unsolicited cold calls.
Give me a missed call this morning, and when I returned the call after work was very rude saying you are not from this area. Jeez...you called me!

A foreign caller rings every morning around 9.30 and sometimes in the evenings around 6.30 and asks me to complete a survey that will take 30 seconds. I have done this once (it takes a good 5 minutes) and a second time giving totally random answers. The third time I said I had already done it and was not doing it again, as I put the the phone down he was wailing my name - ...... DON T GO! Now I lift the handset but say nothing and they ring off almost immediately.

SCAM Didn't know my name and launched into a speil immediately, but i couldn't hear most of what she said as the sound kept cutting out. Became very abusive when I asked her to repeat herself. Eventually hung up on me. I now know how to get these parasites to leave me alone.

Phoned twice. It was an automated message claiming to be my broadband provider stating that my broadband was about to disconnected. As the message did not state who my broadband provider was I hung up. I suspect this is a scam.

Finally received payment, however we had to instruct another solicitor to start winding up and they paid up an hour before we were going to issue court papers. My guess is they think most people will not be bothered or do not want to lose more money. SCAM - call to try to insist you go to a website to become a stocks and trading pro. Caller would not desist the call, was repeatedly told the call was not welcome - standard response was to repeat that I was unable to decline or have an opinion as he had not told me all about his product and had not yet been to his website.
