IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

Received text from 07413284805 saying "...records indicate you may be entitled to ?3750 for mis-sold insurance" and to text back or call this 0844 number. I ve never taken the insurance - its a scam. I wonder if there is an automated way to respond to their text and overload it... Just a thought.

had a call from this number twice in 24 hours. telling me they had information about me working in the industry? when I questioned this the caller kept asking me to confirm my details, which I refused and got annoyed and hung up. He called back within a minute and became abusive telling me he needed answers as he was doing a honest days work. I a afraid I got really rude with him at this point and slammed the phone down again

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. This is the number Uncle Buck use if you are struggling to pay any of the loan you took out with them, They call numerous times starting at 8am through to 8pm at 3 times a day. The caller dose not listen to your circumstances as they obviously read from a card/screen.

Sounded like it was from a call centre about PPI, aggressive caller wouldn't say where he got my number.
Like last commenter yes they use a network of number local and otherwise in the hope u ll pick up the phone They have been phoning my house phone for months with an automated man message And now they have my mobile number Great! Too much of our information is easily accessed by these people under the credit rules What happened to data protection law?!? Don t answer them tell them nothing and completely ignore them

Said they were O2 and wanted to save me money on my contract. Unsure if this is who they really were or not, but didn't have time to talk so I hung up on them.
