11.04 October 19. This was a scam call (male english voice well spoken) stating that it was our internet provider and that our internet will be terminated due to illegal activity. Press 1 to speak to one of our customer care (or something like that). I didn't press 1 but then a female voice started speaking. I hung up.

I got scammed like the last two posters on Saturday 26th June, but at Frankley on the M5 at around 11.30am. I reported it to West Midlands Police and to Action Fraud but have not had a follow up from either yet. Silver Vauxhall VIG2342, very convincing and grateful manner, same story about returning from Belgium and needing money to get back to Ireland and feed his children, same mobile number (07721 950844) - also introduced me to his children and happy to show me his ID. SCAM - said it’s from Evri and there was a failed delivery attempt and had a link to arrange re delivery - I have had messages from Evri in the past and the name comes up Evri not a number so this is definitely a scam - don’t click the link.
