They said they were the National Insurance office, but when I asked if they could confirm that it was a genuine call they got aggressive a put the phone down.
Same here, supposedly from Sky, this is a complete scam, I used to have Sky and had this equipment insurance but as I no longer have Sky I said I needed to cancel this and he immediately hung up the phone. 02038126247

Was called by this number out of the blue saying I can sign up for Amazon Prime for £7.99 per month. I have always decried Prime activation and have in the past asked Amazon to disable Prime on my login. This has been that way for a couple of years now, but this has started again. It was an automatic message call.

Something about being charged £79.99, and pressing 1 to speak to a service manager. We don't have Amazon Prime. We are ex directory, and with TPS.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. SCAM - call to try to insist you go to a website to become a stocks and trading pro.
