I just had a scam call from someone ith a very strong south asian accent claiming to be from Virgin media about problems with my broadband. He did not go through any security ch...

This very rude man calls twice a day.He knows my name and insists I ve been mis sold PPI. I ve told him I am not interested and to remove my name and number. He talks over what I m saying and has continued to ring even when I don t say anything. Now I am going to get one of those screech alarms and the next time he rings he ll know I m serious about not wanting to talk to him.

Initially called in December about my Google ads but told them to call me back in Jan after I could assess situation. Did call back, nice polite guy but told him I did not need their services, he was disappointed but still polite! Website says based in Brighton but actually based in Pakistan.

Phoned my mobile this morning.Looks like from previous comments, they are saying they are from the same area of the country as the person being called, in this instance the south west. Said my name had been put forward for a payment as I had in the past worked in a factory with noise & machines. He could NOT tell me who had put my name forward, which factory I had worked at or when.As I ve never worked in a factory I dragged the call out as long as poss before he hung up.

Call received on my landline, purportedly from Amazon regarding renewal of my Prime membership. Instructions to press 1 if I wanted to cancel membership. I hung up without pressing any numbers. I do not trust phone calls like this. Possible scam.

Completed an online quotation and have been bombarded with calls since. I advised them I was no longer interested due to their pushy sales techniques on the phone and I would proceed with BUPA. Despite this and after blocking their number they are still calling from different numbers. Relates to a dodgy car trader... aggressive in getting the sale and as soon as you need the support they don’t want to know!

Although a Huddersfield code this number came up as an international call on my phone. HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Has mental health problems and no support worker, someone has bought a bunch of stuff in accounts in my name. This is harassment considering another company was harassing me for the same reason, though they were nicer about giving me time to collect evidence. Apparently I took to long as they fobbed me off with this bunch.
