A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.
Automated call about an Amazon purchase of an iPhone - which I haven t made. Picked it up as I live in the area. Sounds like a scam.
Called yesterday (12 Nov) at 18:46 and drivelled on about the PPI you were sold. Obviously a bunch of spivs as I don t do PPI as I don t take out loans or use credit cards. I have a sunbed shop in Bacup OL13. I was given the telephone number off a referral and spoke with Jason. I was paying £2,147 per year. Jason and his team got me exempt. I got 2 years rebate (which was nice) and now I do not pay Rates to the Council until at least 2021. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This is Debt Free Direct. Probably phoning because you called them or you have dealings with them. It's not a marketing/nuisance call.
