Spoke to them about a PPI claim, they actually ended up "buying my claim" took about a week!

Date 16-12-19 10-40 am. Automated call said he was from BT. Wanted me 2 press button 1 to get technical help. Claimed my broadband would shut down. I did Not cll back as I could hav been charged money. Looks like a scam to me.

I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. Same story. About a road accident I had but caller was from Liverpool and they used an 01462 area code. Trying to get me to claim for unnecessary whip lash etc, I suspect. Blocked.

Scam. Claiming to be from Microsoft about hackers accessing computer and installing dangerous software on it. Have your name and address (easily available from phone book) to add 'authenticity'. Had fun winding them up as obviously a scam. They just want access to your computer so don't engage with them.

Keep getting this number ringing me and when I pick up they put the phone down at other end

Eight calls in two weeks. Many ring once and hang up, expecting you to call back. When you do answer a call quickly there s sometimes a delay in them answering, meaning they are multi calling at the same time. Over polite conversation never quite getting to what they want. Probably accident scammers.
