Dangerous scammers pretending to be from HMRC, threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless they get an instant payment! Don t pick up the call - or if you already did, just end the call, don t press any keys - and if they ve left you an intimidating voicemail DON T call them back. Don t worry, there will be NO legal consequences, there is NO arrest warrant, these bullies are just trying to scare you.
The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. SCAM Claimed to be from BT and asked. Indian gentleman telling me that my internet line was not performing and asked me to read the numbers from the hub. Told him that I did not think that he was from BT and he persisted and asked again. Rang off when I asked him if he thought that I was idiot.
It s spam you call the number and you get charged be careful they make out they are your phone provider.

Received a call asking about my car accident - which of course I hadn t had. When I asked who told them I have been in an accident the weary sounding woman just said they would remove my details and rang off. Interesting that if you try to call them on this number it appears not to exist.

Fraud SMS from 07723630445 at 16:48 Wednesday 7 April 2021 giving text G- [7 digit number] is your Google verification code. Not sure why this came up as it's not from any valid Google authentication service - maybe they are just testing to see if there is a valid phone number?

Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Not sure what category to put the caller under.
