This number called me to say that my number has been used in a serious number of crimes and my national insurance number will be suspended if I don’t press 1 to talk to someone. This isn’t real as the police would ring me directly or turn up at my house, not use an automated voice message to tell me. I hung up instead of pressing 1.

Scam leaving voice messages saying there is a law suit against me and that if I don't act, my NIH number will be void. Phoned them back up, a gentleman in a call centre picked up, saying "HMRC, this is Steve speaking".
