I never answer a number i dont recognise but thankful for google to find out it must be a cold call. Got quite a few of them lately.

I was in the shower when they rang, had to rush to the phone, only to find they were wasting my time trying to get me to buy some stuff I don t need, by this time the water was still running and I m on a meter! Also my towel got soaked so I was unable to dry myself properly after the shower

These people rang me on 01782887349 about 6 months after I tried to use them for a quote. The caller could not pronounce my name correctly and I was unable to make out which Insurance Company she represented. She rang off when I used my "old fart" I can t hear you dear, routine. The company was in fact useful in that originally they informed me of "3" YES "3" to blame claims in my name. I now have none and it was a task to get in touch with the CUE Database people, the BBC, journalists and other insurers

Same time as yesterday I received an automated voice call asking me to press 1 to receive a SMS from 00000000000. This is definitely a scam and I have blocked the caller.

The following number: 0208 759 95 77 keeps phoning and when I pick it up, a machine keeps beeping and I cannot hang up. It is a stupid caller who harrass people and blocks the phone line.

Eight calls in two weeks. Many ring once and hang up, expecting you to call back. When you do answer a call quickly there s sometimes a delay in them answering, meaning they are multi calling at the same time. Over polite conversation never quite getting to what they want. Probably accident scammers.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. This number caller is a pain. Only answered once told them never been in accident but they still call at least 3 times a day. So how John who works for this firm can say "we don,t bother people again if there are not interested" obviously doesn,t know the concept of not interested ,dont call again.Dont answer.
