SCAM / SPAM Phoned by an Indian woman going on to ask me about my Microsoft computer! I immediately know it's a recognised scam and shout at her before she ends the call. Called back the number to find it is not recognised!
Automated call from telemarketer telling me I was entitled to a "tax refund". To talk to someone press 5, to unsubscribe press 9. On pressing 9 I was told to register with TPS! I already am!

Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and that there is a warrant for your arrest due to tax fraud. They might have some of your details so it seems real. Beware it's a scam. They said if you hang up the call, they will tell the courts you tried to run away from arrest, then they will fine you larger amounts. They tell you to stay on the line until they can get this sorted for you out of court and they're only trying to help you. They use multiple number including a cloned HMRC number. Avoid and block.

11.04 October 19. This was a scam call (male english voice well spoken) stating that it was our internet provider and that our internet will be terminated due to illegal activity. Press 1 to speak to one of our customer care (or something like that). I didn't press 1 but then a female voice started speaking. I hung up.

Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! This is Debt Free Direct. Probably phoning because you called them or you have dealings with them. It's not a marketing/nuisance call.

Claimed to be a security call from BT. Sound of call centre in the backgroound. Indian gentleman. Adress seems to be 94 Kingston Road Exeter, a rather nice private house in a wood! Unlikely I think!
