I’ve had several calls from this number, he says his name is Chris and he is a local energy supplier, if it’s a Bournemouth number that definitely is not local, I’ve told him I’m not interested in what he has to say or sell but he still keeps calling and harassing me, I’ve just hung up this time, this number is a scam and they legally shouldn’t be able to get away with harassing people especially in their own homes.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. I received an unsolicited call to my personal mobile, which started with the announcement that the person was "Molly" and then gave a surname and company, and went on to ask about an accident "in which you were innocent". Just had a call from this number 001-979-823-4079. Guy with poor english said the files on my Windows computer were infected by a download of infected files. Wanted to speak to the owner of the PC. After stringing him along for a while I told him to get lost as it was a scam. He hung up.
Many repeated automated messages of low quality, on my work phone, asking to call this number. I have had no dealings with the company in the past, and have no debts. Spam at the least, possibly a scam.

SCAM Financial investment company that they claim I had asked to be contacted by. However they do not know my actual given name nor do they know my full name. I asked if instead of using the random name I publicly go by if they could confirm my full name and other details but could not. I’ve had several of these “investment companies” calling and fishing for details recently. All have the same “spiel” and follow the same script to their calls, with only the company name having any variations.
