My phone displayed "Swansea" - Since I don t know anyone from here, apart from DVLA - I did not answer it because the only company from Swansea that I know is the DVLA, plus it came up on my mobile number which is registered with TPA.

London number (fails to connect on call back) Indian voice asking to speak to Mr ......, told me I had a serious issues with my PC. When I asked him for the identity of the PC and its serial number so I could identify which of the 200 PCs at my location was the issue he blathered a bit and then when I asked him which of the Police Constables he wished to speak to he hung up. Answered the phone . Heard background noises so hit call blocker button.Don t know how but it then rang on our extension phone. I ran downstairs and again no response. I hit the call blocker unit and successful came up. I am also on TPS scheme but the call blocker has been a Godsend as this is the only call that got through this month so recommend Call blockers which block International, 200 built in known blocks and all with held numbers.What a nuisance these people are.

Have fun writing to them to tell how much you appreciate their calls.

Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out

Caller claimed to be working with BT to save us money on our BT bill. She was obviously lying as we don t use BT. Became aggressive when I refused to say who we did buy telephone service from. I suspect it s some type of scam.

two missed calls when I eventually answered they knew my full name. Not sure if they re a liget company or not but If they are they need some serious customer service training. I got told I was a moody b**ch and then hung up on. I work in a call centre if I ever did that I d be out the door in seconds. Seems normal for them!
