Received a call insinuating i had commited tax fraud and to press one to avoid an arrest warrant being issued by HMRC. Scammer

asking for a name of someone made up. Then said who pays for the gas and electric in the house. ? Sounded like a child or very young woman. Never said who they were or what company. Very childish.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Claimed be calling from somewhere that sounded like CAB, but wasn t, telling me they had received legal notification of outstanding debts I had to pay. Hung up when I told him I didn t, number will not receive calls.
