Automated call about PPI

Hourly calls received for 2 days so far, after I stupidly entered my correct phone number on an insurance comparison site (Quotezone - avoid at all costs). Ive never answered the calls and am unable to block them on my current phone or via my call provider, so I m buying a phone which has call barring on it. Ridiculous to think I have to do that, but I cant be doing with hourly calls, since yesterday and starting today, Saturday morning at 9.10am.

I m not sure why people are saying the are scammers pretending to be EE, the number is on their actual site as one of their direct partner numbers. However I still would not recommend picking up as EE broadband has terrible service. My advice is head for the hills and don t look back.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Filled in a QUICK form through gumtree for a loan decision only to be told we need to speak to you! This was followed by phone calls, texts, 3 emails from Zuto and 2 instant spurious spam emails from 2 random sources even though I ticked the box to NOT share my info.
