SCAM / SPAM - Lady over the phone (asian accent) by name of Linda Jones apparently calling from HMRC tax fraud and evasion, evening time. asking for my personal details and full name. Refused to give me her job title or confirm anything in writing/email - threatened to pass over my info to the courts if i didn't co operate. Ended the call when I started asking her information relating to her role.

SPAM - I had to wait while they connected so seemed like a scam, asked for Mr. Newman (not known here but not the first time I have had someone asking for him), when I said it was the wrong number he said "why are you lying? Why are you f*ing lying".
Not expecting a call from a broadband provider haven t given my number to anyone regarding broadband or phone, this man saying they are EE. Although polite enough, I was polite on BOTH occasions they called, 2.30pm and 19.33. I asked them not to call me again the first time around and I asked them AGAIN this evening, so nuscience calls now. Blocked.

Its a fake number.there was a lurcative job offer on a website.I called them they took my interview for an hour and it was fake.It had costed me like 32 pounds or so.I already dont have any money and now i dont know from where i ill pay this 32 or 33 pounds.Bad luck

Keep calling my elderly father. Say they're from BT and threatening to cut off his connection. When I phone them back they don't answer but it's a Sky voicemail.
All the calls from "TalkTalk", "BT", "Openreach", "Microsoft" ,etc., are SCAMS. Don’t talk to these people!

Apparently they make money on you making a return call...don't ask me how but it sort of makes sense because everyone seems to have the same response.
This number rang my 84 year old mother and told her that her boiler warranty is about to run out (her boiler is very old and as far as she knows she s never had a warranty on it.) They persuaded her to sign up for a new warranty and she gave her bank card details. I m going to take her to the bank tomorrow to find out how much they took from her card. She has never been sent any warranty paperwork by them. Seems like a scam, almost certainly illegal. Once we know how much they ve withdrawn from her a/c
This is a really great computer training company; they come to your house, and help you with anything you need help learning how to use, and also how to find out how to use something yourself. Really great and I will use them again, Adam is the best trainer, he has a computer Sciences degree so he knew his stuff, he had such a good way of describing it to me, and once I got it, everything started falling into place. 10/10 and highly recommended. Called twice. First time line was silent. The second time 'Chris' telling me he was from an energy efficiency agency and my loft insulation was insufficient. He said that I could have a fee government survey. I told him I had a had a loft conversion, and there was no such thing as a government insulation survey. He hung up. Definite scam.
