This company phoned my 89 yr old mother three times in one week asking for me.. I've never lived with my mother for over37years. Don't know how they got her number and...
I received a phone call from this number. I know nobody who lives in London. When I said hello and asked who I am speaking to, nobody replied and they stated on the line for a few seconds before ending the call. I called the number back, the phone just ringsand then goes to Sky voice messaging service.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. If you don t the problem of nuisance calls will get worse. You can then call the initial seller and ask to be removed from the main database. Pinpoint (Call Solutions) Ltd. Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and that there is a warrant for your arrest due to tax fraud. They might have some of your details so it seems real. Beware it's a scam. They said if you hang up the call, they will tell the courts you tried to run away from arrest, then they will fine you larger amounts. They tell you to stay on the line until they can get this sorted for you out of court and they're only trying to help you. They use multiple number including a cloned HMRC number. Avoid and block.

Scammers claiming to be BT
This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.
