SCAM / SPAM. Received call from this number claiming to be "The Preservation Advisory Service", saying that an article in the Telegraph had highlighted how additional home insulation could reduce air quality and that they offered a free air quality measurement service. When I asked which company he worked for, he said his manager would tell me after I had arranged a visit from them. I pushed for this and he hung up.
Indian call centre trying to tell me I'd been involved in an accident. I didn't respond to the caller and the agent hung up!

I googled hp printer support and got through printerassistant.co.uk. The representative said I would have to pay £2.00 for a printer driver and than they took control over my computer. They charged 100's of pounds from my account. Nasty, Scammers. BE ALERT!

called where i work this morning. Really rude man on the line telling me he wants to find hidden commission in our utility bills. when i said our accountants are on with doing it he cut me off and said they wont be getting what he can get us. would hardly let me speak and when i could he corrected me every time although i was repeating what he had said. in the end he said "what a rude person" and hung up. dont answer to them it will be scam.

I m not sure why people are saying the are scammers pretending to be EE, the number is on their actual site as one of their direct partner numbers. However I still would not recommend picking up as EE broadband has terrible service. My advice is head for the hills and don t look back.

Man with Indian accent trying to confirm my personal details, i questioned him why he needed to know when he asked which age group I was in, surprise! He then cut the call.

WARNING: 01542832293, supposedly from SKY telephones with a refund of £202 for being over charged in previous months. We don't have any SKY account. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. I said I was not giving any details over the phone to someone that I did not know and wanted someone to talk to me as clearly as I was talking to him. I waited, the line was open, and he hung up. DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL DETAILS OVER THE PHONE.

Called yesterday (12 Nov) at 18:46 and drivelled on about the PPI you were sold. Obviously a bunch of spivs as I don t do PPI as I don t take out loans or use credit cards. Attempted to make a complaint to the TPS and their website says "noting to do with us try the information commissioner". Who is paying for the TPS and why? They seem to be a waste of space.
