The said they were the hearing centre.I said no thankyou.They have phoned 5 times in the last week. I don't answer the phone as I have caller ID. They are a nuisance.
Telemarketing Very insistent lady who said she was from “Expert Savers” who wanted me to answer questions. I asked her to remove my number from her list as I do not want this type of call. She kept on trying to engage me in her questions and I had to hang up. Number blocked.

Called twice today, 2nd time answered: asked for my partner by name & claimed to be from People's Energy who are our energy supplier and are based in Edinburgh so that matches the area code (0131). My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. SCAM - Amazon fake caller. usual Indian accent. Tried to get me to log in onto a fake website, Strung him along for a few minutes just to annoy. worked well.
This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.

I think the number shown on my mobile may be a spoof number to prompt me to reply and be diverted to the premium rate real number. This is the second time in 2 days I have reported a problem. Once to my landline, this one to my mobile. Really getting sick of the extent of the problem. Had 90 junk mails yesterday. Maybe need to change email address and phone numbers, big inconvenience.

SCAM: Obviously a spoofed number- supposedly calling from my local area. An Indian sounding woman announced herself and said she was calling from BT. I don't have my phone line from BT, so I put on a silly voice & asked her if it was nice where she was, or was it raining? She ended the call.

Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.

A man with a foreign sounding voice but very english name called.Told me he was from microsoft.Have had these calls from another number (01225766466) but the difference being that this one had our name.He could not pronounce it but was able to spell it when i asked, strange because it is simple name and only 5 letters.When i asked how he got the name he hung up.I believe its the same people as the other number.I had such a shouting match with them on the phone last week,i think they have changed tactics !
