SCAM!!! Received a call from this number and I was advised a debit had been made on my VISA card for £900 Asked female her name, (illegible) Owen. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.

Just received a call from this number, they rang off before l could answer, but didn't dial the number back. Seems to be a lot of scam calls from 08000 numbers to the UK. You'd think the Gov'ment would tackle this harassing, persistent issue so many of us have to experience on a daily basis of upto 6 times a day

Latest release - Luke Ballantyne was listed as a Director of HML Consultants but resigned in November 2019, with Sarah Aldrige appointed as a Director in the same month. Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609. There are a few postings already online indicating this is a further scam. When they call they imply you already have extended warranty cover with them and are asking
