Just coming back about the second number given in previous post - 002220 88199804. I asked the lady on the phone for the location of this number, she told me it was central London. Just to let you all know, Country code 002220 is Gambia!

I had a phone call from this number on my mobile. It was a recorded message saying that the message was from HM revenue and that my name is involved with a fraud investigation. It then went on to say that I had to press 1 to find out what to do next and if I didn’t then a warrant would be issued. At this point I hung up on them.

Phoned this 'Missed Call' number using my landline, Just seemed to be a recored message of a woman saying 'Goodbye'.

Just had a call from this number, there seemed to be no one there so this number has been added to my ever increasing list of blocked numbers.

Used local school names in an attempt to make me believe we had helped them with our sponsorship of some internet safety programme, offered me a £20 discount if I paid up today, bringing it to just £129!! Bargain, I thought! Then I remembered that I am no mug and these con artists need shooting down. SCUM

Phoned today, said from O2, simple response im in a contract, thank you for your call and I hung up. One thing i will say, when the caller phone me, I really didnt like her introduction, hello my dear, Im from o2!

Caller claims to be from Openreach Titan telling us we are going to benefit from cheaper rates. When I asked for marketing material to be sent to me instead they went into panic overload! I believe this company to be cold calling with a view to trying to get you switch provider and possibly reduce your call costs.

This number kept calling ,I did not answer,I did a 1471 and found this nuber, since we have been taken over by Sky,the nuisance calls get worse,so do they care? Obviously not they get the money in at our Expense....

They are trying to get you to call back at your cost, then they ll try to persuade you to give them your details so they can pass them on to a PPI scammer

It was a missed call I thought it was a number I recognised and called it back call was dropped . any advice on what I should do now

House of Ladies ask for a police check. I am not sure of them. Perhaps someone can let me know if they are genuine. Usually a good agency as the type on this page should be good. Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states.
