Bloke sold me a motorbike that's not good

"Elwyn" called my number Thursday 18th May 2017 at 17.30. He wanted to talk to me about car insurance/accident. I put the phone down.

Rang 6 times, had my name, said it was a survey, survey would only take a minute. I refused and I ve since blocked the number.

This caller pretends to be from BT accounts department offering a refund on your account. When I challenged them and told them that the number is most definitely not BT accounts they hung up. Do not give them any information- hang up immediately

Claimed to be Natasha from Link Group, I refused to transfer her call to a director, but she allowed me to take a message, which she tried to make sound genuine and urgent. Clearly not.

Trying to sell life insurance.. The normal wolf or Wall Street type clapping in the background when they make a sale.. stay clear, pushy.. has an answer for everything type sales advisors. Do not put the phone down just waste there time, they will not put to the phone down.. good luck my friend of annoyance calls.

I call these obvious scammers back and start to make a pizza order. They get so confused bless them lol

Received an uninvited call to my landline number, claiming to be conducting a health survey on behalf of the UK Government. Rang and after one ring it stopped. I suspect this number is being used to ring numbers to identify if they are in use. Every number that it successfully rings at least once is then added to a list to sell to scum bags for dodgy telemarketing purposes. Utter scum. Block it if you can.

Caller claimed my PC was slow and showing errors on google and email usage. I told caller that my system was satisfactory. This is almost certainly a phishing scam

Mathew Dunn tried to solicit monies when asked about company name. I checked them out. They do not exist. They are using someone else’s company reg number.

Completed an online quotation and have been bombarded with calls since. I advised them I was no longer interested due to their pushy sales techniques on the phone and I would proceed with BUPA. Despite this and after blocking their number they are still calling from different numbers. Relates to a dodgy car trader... aggressive in getting the sale and as soon as you need the support they don’t want to know!
