I keep getting calls from this number which I never answer. I think that if you answer or reply to calls from these people they will know that the number is live, and not only will they keep hassling you, but they will also sell your number to other rogue companies.

My guess is they think most people will not be bothered or do not want to lose more money. I got a phone call from this number, as I did the 1471 to hear the number back. The man said his name was John and wanted to speak to my brother. He new his name and said he owed money and they wished to speak to him. My mother answered the call but wouldn t give up any details, but she kept asking them questions about who they were and why they were ringing. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION AWAY!! They call me constantly, sometimes hanging up straight away other times if I answer its about PPI. I now play around with them. My record is 25 mins waiting for me to find fictitious paperwork... they hang up... I know people dont have time to mess around but i work nights so i quite enjoy it. JUST DON T ANSWER IF YOU DONT WANT TO PLAY WITH THEM.
