They just called me this afternoon which I ignored but found info on other sites so I phoned them and have confirmed who they are. The company is called Mark Group . They are a company that specialise in cavity wall insulation and solar panels. They are based in Ashford, Kent. They did some insulation work for me just under a year ago, very quick & very good, but not sure on the "cold calling" front.

Rings then there is no-one there when I answer.

Often recieve calls claiming to be from Royal Sun Alliance. RSA are MOTABILITY insurer and we are being targetted for a very minor incident while our MOTABILITY car was stationary/parked/empty off road!Unwelcome, uninvited, disconcerting as related calls can be aggressive. Man with Indian accent. Said his name was Jerry. Called me Mrs [first initial of my oh s first name + his surname] which anyone can look up in the phonebook. Asked me if I was this person. I didn t tell him. Said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). I just pressed the red button.

I recieved a call from them and they didn't say anything.

This number called my mobile and I returned the call from my landline and withheld my number. They said that they had in fact received a call from this number (I withheld the number) I found this strange that someone was in my house and called them, must have been my dog that called her?!? She said was it to do with gas? I think this is a scam telephone number.

They called me up at 5:25 in the morning and when I answered they didn t even bother responding. I m repeatedly getting calls like this from these stupid marketing companies.

all morning and there is never anyone on the other end when I answer. I have started to silence my phone when it rings.

Phoned my mobile twice in 45 minutes, so it must have been important that they contact me, but they never left a voicemail which makes me think it must be a scam company cold calling. Yes, cold calling as I never ask companies to contact me.
