This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. Automated calls are extremely annoying as 1) All you can do is hang up (best option) and 2) They obviously don t deem you important enough to at least get a human being to pester you. SCAM, voice generated message claiming to be from the HMRC and that a fraud case has been created against your name. If you don't press #1 a warrant will be issued for your arrest.. then it hangs up. Comedy SCAM but could worry the more venerable in society.
Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

I had a call off this number and asked for their complaints details. I emailed them at [email?protected] I just had to give them my name and number and they removed me straight away. I haven t had any calls since.
