Internet scam Called 8a.m said Steve from Virgin Media about my broadband connection. Said, am not in a Virgin area, he hung up.
SCAM - I received a call from this number. On answering, was an automated message saying that two transactions including one from Amazon had been attempted on my card. One for £300 and one for over a thousand pounds. Checking my bank shows no such attempts. This is a brazen attempt at Fraud.

He spoke very convincingly and was stubborn that the call was "not out of the blue" that he was instructed to call me because they had to transfer funds to me in relation to driving accident that was not my fault. Claimed to be Virgin Internet. Hung up when I queried
SCAM Pretty sure this is a scam. Text received supposedly from Evri - missed delivery, but following link to redeliver, the site requested card information and redelivery fee. On Evri website, Evri state that if you have missed a parcel, you don't need to do anything as a redelivery will be attempted next day. Scam. Beware. No-one contacting you should be asking for card details.
Caller made no attempt to speak, I could hear chatter and radio playing in background. Probably scammers.
Thankyou, I had not recorded the fact that I had dialled this number, I shall now keep it for future reference.
