I just checked this number as I got suspicious. A guy called Glen Lowther is supposed to be coming to my house in an hour to sell advertising space for Wood brook Medical Centre, Loughborough. When I call the number no-one replies. Will they come to my house?

I never usually answer these types of numbers, but I'm glad I did, got a very good deal on my contract renewal, better than I could find online NOT SPAM/SCAM

Was called today by this company at 7.50am. Never heard of them. Only answered the call as I thought it was the paper shop about my delivery! Told them to ..... off! When I called back to complain - yes you ve guessed it, the options they were giving you to either speak to a rep or have your number deleted didn t work. Scam, scam, scam!

These people are phoning me from 8.30am until late at night, asking if im me and going through security questions to verify who i am. I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. Life Insurance Company. They asked for my address, I told them they phoned my, he said it does not work like that due to the data protection act. CALL ENDED BY ME AND CALL REPORTED.

They are a company called A Shade Greener - solar panels company as a result of a customer service call made a few weeks ago

Lydia from UK Legal claimed she had my details from the road traffic accident database and that I had been in an RTA on 28/02/2014. She supplied her number for return calls as 0800 743 872 but called from the number stated above.

Purports to come from Talktalk. Recorded message from Shirley saying that they are going to cut off my internet as my IP address has been compromised.

Please, telemarketer, just fall into a bottomless pit, would you?

Male caller said he represented enegery users and asked if I was the owner
nwhen I said yes he hung up.

They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.

I think this is a scam number aiming to talk the vulnerable (ie people with debts) into giving out their bank details. I terminated the call as soon as they mentioned debts/creditors
