Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. Fraud. Claiming to be from department of work and pensions and that national insurance number was being suspended for suspicious activity.
Called today just before 11.00 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine.. Within a few seconds the call was terminated and no message was left.
SCAM. Phoned to offer me a reduction in my monthly phone bill. Very convincing. Seemed to know a lot about different plans etc. Phoned Carphone Warehouse after the call to confirm their legitimatcy and they have said that it is a scam.
